A Little Evening Music
For my senior Capstone Project, I managed a concert at one of our on-campus venues. The event was titled A Little Evening Music and featured a fun night of folk and indie pop, both with beloved covers and original work. This experience allowed me to develop my skills in event management, marketing, artist relations, and cross-departmental communication.
After months of careful planning, the concert came to fruition. I oversaw the full scope of the event, coordinating with the venue and sound team, managing artist relations, and collaborating on marketing with the evening’s headliner, Owen. The process unfolded smoothly, and it was an honor to create a platform for artists to showcase their work and creativity. The turnout was strong for this type of event, and it was especially notable given the venue’s intimate size and the tendency for weekday performances to be overlooked.
